How did I get Qlik QSDA and QDBA Certifications?
I have written about the app I created to track my studies in the past (here), but haven’t written about how I did get certified. Being certified from a technology can offer you many advantages, as I can see:
1 — Is a proof of certain expertise level (it is not a substitute of experience);
2 — Thus, it enriches your curriculum/LinkedIn;
3 — Probably it is going bring you some salary compensation or better proposals;
4 — And for me, the most relevant: Learning Journey. I’m 100% sure you are going to learn things (sometimes really basic things) that you never had the change to see before.
Just to reinforce it, when I got my first Qlik Certification (QSDA) my LinkedIn profile received tons of visits and I also received some proposals. In Case you’re looking for a change, a certification in your curriculum might be a good add.
Enough of what are my thoughts regarding certification, how did I prepare for it? I can point out 4 main actions I did, all planned in advance, by the mehtod I planned.
