Since I emigrated to Germany, I have been receiving various contacts from people asking for tips or just trying to understand how I became a Data Engineer in Europe. So, I decided to create this brief article about how it happened for me.

Well, I am very methodical, and I believe that organizing goals in a process to make it easier to improve is how I deal with these matters. So, what happened in my job acquisition process:

Motivation:

I started by understanding the real reasons for wanting to emigrate, and in my case, they were:
- Long-standing desire of mine and my wife’s
- Opportunity to travel
- Security for us and, who knows, our child
- Possibility of dual citizenship
- Learning a new language
