Well, time flies, and with it, I always like to take a little look back and reflect on what has happened. When I look at my professional past and compare it to my present, I could never have imagined I would be where I am today (professionally, not geographically).

A bit of my history:

Many people who follow me know that I don’t have a background in IT. I graduated as a Mechanical Technician, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, and completed a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering. From the age of 17 to 29, I worked in various areas of metallurgical industries, from being an assistant in aluminum casting to CAD drafting. I had a decent experience and a good salary by Brazilian standards, but far below that of IT professionals, which at that time seemed like something from another world.

Yes, I wanted to transition to IT, but like many others, I was lost and didn’t know where to start. I studied random things on Udemy, had a queue of courses…
