Hey network, Monday and great week everyone.
Last week I made a post about an aspect I love about working in Europe: Travelling! I received about 50 messages with many questions and comments. I took some comments from these messages and joining them with other older conversations and opinions, today I talk a little about some myths about working outside Brazil:

1 — I need to speak English like a native!

The more proficient, the better. Communication is essential yes, but they won’t always require you to be a native speaker, but to be able to communicate well. This means dev vacancies, maybe management or sales vacancies, the criteria are a little more rigorous.

2 — I need to be in Europe/North America/ … to have more chances

Another myth is that you think that coming on vacation in Europe will help you get a job while here. First, if you are not a European citizen (or from the country you intend to…) you can only stay for a limited time. Second, selection processes are generally time-consuming if purchased from Brazil.
